The McNary Celtics basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the visiting West Albany Bulldogs to 62 in the Celtics non-league victory on Friday.
The Celtics now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sprague for a 6A Central Valley contest on Thursday, January 5. McNary will battle a Olympians team coming off a 83-49 non-league win over Aloha (Beaverton, OR). The Olympians record now stands at 4-6.
The Bulldogs (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Woodburn (Woodburn, OR). The Bulldogs come into the 5A Mid-Willamette contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Woodburn was defeated by Clackamas (Clackamas, OR), 52-50, in a non-league contest.
