With the win, Monterey upgrades its record to 7-4 on the season. The Dores host Everett Alvarez (Salinas, CA) to clash with the Eagles in a PCAL - Gabilan bout on Friday, January 6. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 6-6.

Next up, the Hawks clash with the Pacific Grove Breakers (Pacific Grove, CA) in a PCAL - Mission bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Oakwood will attempt to upgrade on its 9-3 season record. The Breakers go into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 50-28 non-league win over Marina (Marina, CA).
