The Montevideo Thunderhawks basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Pipestone Arrows to 58 in the Thunderhawks league triumph on Friday.

The Thunderhawks now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jackson County Central for a AA Section 3 contest on Saturday, December 31. Montevideo will battle a Huskies team coming off a 76-51 non-league win over Canby (Canby, MN). The Huskies record now stands at 4-1.

The Arrows (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Marshall (Marshall, MN). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Marshall was nudged by Tea (Tea, SD), 72-44, in a non-league contest.
