The Start Spartans (Toledo, OH) basketball knocked off the visiting Palmetto Tigers (Palmetto, FL), 52-43 in Friday's non-league test.
The Spartans (5-3) will now prepare for their test against Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate (Tampa, FL). The Phoenix go into the non-league test with a 6-4 record. In their last test, Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate notched a victory over Monterey (Monterey, TN), 83-48, in a non-league test.
The Tigers now own a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Monterey for a non-league test on Saturday, December 31. Palmetto will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 83-48 non-league loss to Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate (Tampa, FL). The Wildcats record now stands at 12-3.
