Parkrose Broncos (Portland, OR) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting South Salem Saxons (Salem, OR), 59-55 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Parkrose upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Broncos travel to Hood River Valley (Hood River, OR) to clash with the Eagles in a 5A Northwest Oregon bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 3-4.

Next up, the Saxons clash with the Century Jaguars (Hillsboro, OR) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 3. South Salem will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record. The Jaguars go into the bout with a 1-7 record after their 51-46 non-league loss to Franklin (Portland, OR).
