With the victory, Plantation upgrades its record to 6-8 on the campaign. The Colonels host Coconut Creek (Coconut Creek, FL) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Monday, January 9. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 3-8. Coconut Creek lost 74-58 in their recent non-league bout against Harmony (Harmony, FL)

Next up, the Lions play the FAU High Owls (Boca Raton, FL) in a 3A District 13 bout, on Monday, January 9. Somerset Academy Key will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record.
