In Friday's non-league match, the host Umpqua Valley Christian Monarchs basketball team scored a good 62-46 triumph over the Rogue River Chieftains.
In their next game, the Monarchs meet the Riddle Irish (Riddle, OR) in a 1A Skyline match, on Friday, January 6. Umpqua Valley Christian will attempt to better on its 3-5 season record.
