With the win, Rossview upgrades its record to 8-4 on the season. The Hawks host Dickson County (Dickson, TN) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 5-5. Dickson County won 74-52 in their recent non-league game against Waverly Central (Waverly, TN)

With the defeat, Starkville Academy moves to 9-7 on the year. The Volunteers travel to Washington (Greenville, MS) to face the Generals in a MAIS 5A District 1 game on Tuesday, January 3. The Generals enter the game with a record of 1-3. Washington lost 53-36 in their recent league game against Bayou Academy (Cleveland, MS)
