Varsity Opponent (, ) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Wesley Christian (Allen, KY), 64-61 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Varsity Opponent upgrades its record to 167-570 on the campaign. The travel to Quanah (Quanah, TX) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Friday, December 30. The Indians come into the bout with a record of 12-7. Quanah won 46-33 in their recent non-league bout against Archer City (Archer City, TX)
