Ellicottville Eagles (Ellicottville, NY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Allegany-Limestone Gators (Allegany, NY), 66-31 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Ellicottville upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Eagles host Salamanca (Salamanca, NY) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 4-2. Salamanca won 38-30 in their recent non-league bout against Pine Valley Central (South Dayton, NY)

Next up, the Gators play the Olean Huskies (Olean, NY) in a Section 6 Chautauqua/Cattaraugus - West I bout, on Thursday, January 5. Allegany-Limestone will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record.
