Arroyo Grande Eagles (Arroyo Grande, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Tehachapi Warriors (Tehachapi, CA), 44-31 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Arroyo Grande upgrades its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Morro Bay (Morro Bay, CA) to play the Pirates in a Central Coast bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Pirates come into the bout with a record of 8-4. Morro Bay won 41-39 in their recent non-league bout against North (Bakersfield, CA)

Next up, the Warriors play the South Spartans (Bakersfield, CA) in a South Yosemite - Mountain bout, on Wednesday, January 11. Tehachapi will attempt to upgrade on its 13-1 season record. The Spartans come into the bout with a 1-7 record after their 45-17 non-league loss to Chavez (Delano, CA).
