New Jersey High School Basketball - Garfield ripped by Becton

The Becton Wildcats basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Garfield Boilermakers to 15 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Friday.
The Wildcats now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Mary for a North Jersey - Meadowlands B contest on Wednesday, January 4. Becton will battle a Gaels team coming off a 50-8 league loss to Wood-Ridge (Wood-Ridge, NJ). The Gaels record now stands at 0-3.
The Boilermakers (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Wallington (Wallington, NJ). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Wallington was routed by Beloved Community Charter (Jersey City, NJ), 21-14, in a non-league contest.
