Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin Lions (Chardon, OH) and the visiting Berkshire Badgers (Burton, OH), saw Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin's basketball squad knock off Berkshire by a count of 40-20.
With the victory, Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin upgrades its record to 2-5 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Padua Franciscan (Parma, OH) to play the Bruins in a Crown challenge on Wednesday, January 4. The Bruins come into the challenge with a record of 5-8. Padua Franciscan lost 71-41 in their recent non-league challenge against North Ridgeville (North Ridgeville, OH)
Next up, the Badgers play the Grand Valley Mustangs (Orwell, OH) in a Chagrin Valley - Valley challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Berkshire will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 7-5 record after their 49-39 non-league win over Chalker (Southington, OH).
