Texas High School Basketball - Rivercrest succumbs to Bloomburg

The Bloomburg Wildcats topped the host Rivercrest Rebels basketball team by a final score of 45-36 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Wildcats face the Saltillo Lions (Saltillo, TX) in a 1A Region III District 24 game, on Tuesday, January 3. Bloomburg will attempt to move on its 20-5 season record. The Lions go into the test with a 25-3 record after their 56-32 non-league win over Tioga (Tioga, TX).

The Rebels now own a 11-10 record. They play next when they travel to Detroit for a 2A Region II District 16 test on Friday, January 6. Rivercrest will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 63-32 non-league win over Ector (Ector, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 2-3.
