Sherrard Tigers (Sherrard, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Brimfield Indians (Brimfield, IL), 51-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Sherrard upgrades its record to 11-3 on the season. The Tigers travel to Morrison (Morrison, IL) to play the Mustangs in a Three Rivers - West bout on Monday, January 9. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 12-6.

Next up, the Indians play the ROWVA/Williamsfield Cougars (Oneida, IL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 5. Brimfield will attempt to upgrade on its 10-5 season record.
