In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Canton Warriors basketball team scored a decisive 54-30 triumph over the Shepaug Valley Spartans.
In their next game, the Warriors meet the Suffield Wildcats (West Suffield, CT) in a North Central Connecticut match, on Wednesday, January 4. Canton will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Wildcats enter the match with a 4-2 record after their 40-36 league win over East Granby (East Granby, CT).
