Desert Christian Academy Conquerors (Bermuda Dunes, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Cathedral City Lions (Cathedral City, CA), 43-17 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Desert Christian Academy upgrades its record to 13-4 on the season. The Conquerors travel to San Jacinto Valley Academy (San Jacinto, CA) to clash with the Wolves in a South Valley bout on Wednesday, January 4. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 8-3. San Jacinto Valley Academy lost 55-35 in their recent non-league bout against Eisenhower (Rialto, CA)

Next up, the Lions clash with the Twentynine Palms Wildcats (Twentynine Palms, CA) in a Desert Valley bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Cathedral City will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 9-6 record after their 58-42 non-league win over Redlands East Valley (Redlands, CA).
