The McLeod Longhorns basketball team scored 36 points and held the visiting Celeste Blue Devils to 15 in the Longhorns non-league triumph on Friday.

The Longhorns now sport a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hawkins for a 2A Region III District 21 contest on Tuesday, January 3. McLeod will meet a Hawks team coming off a 56-48 non-league win over Lindale (Lindale, TX). The Hawks record now stands at 8-2.
