The Connally Cadets (Waco, TX) basketball felled the visiting Kinkaid Falcons (Houston, TX), 41-28 in Friday's non-league test.
The Cadets (17-6) will now prepare for their test against China Spring (China Spring, TX). The Cougars go into the 4A Region III District 23 test with a 8-12 record.
The Falcons now own a 10-4 record. They play next when they host Lutheran North for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 3. Kinkaid will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 58-36 league win over First Baptist Christian (Pasadena, TX). The Lions record now stands at 5-7.
