Connecticut High School Basketball - Crosby can't hold off Naugatuck

The Naugatuck Greyhounds basketball team scored 51 points and held the host Crosby Bulldogs to 48 in the Greyhounds league triumph on Friday.
The Greyhounds now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ansonia for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 3. Naugatuck will battle a Chargers team coming off a 56-31 non-league win over Shelton (Shelton, CT). The Chargers record now stands at 3-3.
The Bulldogs (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Brookfield (Brookfield, CT). The Bobcats enter the non-league contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Brookfield nudged Greenwich (Greenwich, CT), 48-39, in a non-league contest.
