The Deerfield-Windsor Knights (Albany, GA) basketball felled the host Pike Road Patriots (Pike Road, AL), 56-39 in Friday's non-league test.
The Knights (8-1) will now prepare for their test against Colquitt County (Norman Park, GA). The Packers go into the non-league test with a 7-4 record. In their last test, Colquitt County thwarted Turner County (Ashburn, GA), 63-61, in a non-league test.
The Patriots now own a 6-6 record. They play next when they travel to Prattville for a non-league test on Friday, December 30. Pike Road will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 54-25 non-league win over Selma (Selma, AL). The Lions record now stands at 10-1.
