DME Academy DME Academy (Daytona Beach, FL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting William Penn Charter Quakers (Philadelphia, PA), 68-60 in a non-league bout.

With the win, DME Academy upgrades its record to 11-3 on the season. The DME Academy travel to Legacy Early College (Greenville, SC) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Friday, January 6. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 12-4. Legacy Early College won 45-34 in their recent non-league bout against Quality Education Academy (Winston-Salem, NC)

Next up, the Quakers play the George Rogers Clark Cardinals (Winchester, KY) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 31. William Penn Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 56-45 non-league loss to Miami Country Day (Miami, FL).
