North Carolina High School Basketball - East Chapel Hill routs Douglas Byrd

In Friday's non-league outing, the East Chapel Hill Wildcats (Chapel Hill, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Douglas Byrd Eagles (Fayetteville, NC), by a count of 64-43.

The Wildcats (5-6) will now prepare for their outing against Hillside (Durham, NC). The Hornets go into the 4A Conference 30 outing with a 8-3 record. In their last outing, Hillside was crushed by North Mecklenburg (Huntersville, NC), 71-56, in a non-league outing.

The Eagles now hold a 1-11 record. They play next when they travel to Gray's Creek for a 3A/4A Conference 22 outing on Tuesday, January 3. Douglas Byrd will clash with a Bears squad coming off a 43-33 non-league loss to Westover (Fayetteville, NC). The Bears record now stands at 1-8.
