The Eagleville Eagles basketball team scored 67 points and restricted the host Hughes Lions to 26 in the Eagles non-league victory on Friday.
The Eagles now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Community for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 3. Eagleville will battle a Vikings/Viqueens team coming off a 48-43 non-league win over Beech (Hendersonville, TN). The Vikings/Viqueens record now stands at 11-4.
The Lions (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against West Carroll (Atwood, TN). The War Eagles come into the 1A District 12 contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, West Carroll was routed by Keystone Heights (Keystone Heights, FL), 54-42, in a non-league contest.
