Terrell Tigers (Terrell, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Henderson Lions (Henderson, TX), 47-23 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Terrell upgrades its record to 13-11 on the season. The Tigers travel to Arlington Heights (Fort Worth, TX) to clash with the Yellowjackets in a non-league bout on Friday, December 30. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a record of 5-8. Arlington Heights lost 48-46 in their recent non-league bout against Fort Worth Christian (North Richland Hills, TX)

Next up, the Lions clash with the Kilgore Bulldogs (Kilgore, TX) in a 4A Region III District 17 bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Henderson will attempt to upgrade on its 4-12 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 1-12 record after their 40-8 non-league loss to Sulphur Springs (Sulphur Springs, TX).
