The Monmouth-Roseville Titans basketball team (Monmouth, IL), was nudged 41-38 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Lena-Winslow Panthers (Lena, IL)
The Panthers now possess a 15-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Orangeville for a Northwest Upstate Illini - North battle on Friday, January 6.
The Titans (14-2) will now prepare for their battle against Orion (Orion, IL). The Chargers come into the Three Rivers - West battle with a 9-7 record. In their last battle, Orion edged Stockton (Stockton, IL), 47-32, in a non-league battle.
