The Marist RedHawks basketball team (Chicago, IL), was nudged 52-50 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Lincoln-Way West Warriors (New Lenox, IL)

The Warriors now sport a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Stagg for a SouthWest Suburban - Red battle on Thursday, January 5. Lincoln-Way West will battle a Chargers team coming off a 42-40 non-league win over Crete-Monee (Crete, IL). The Chargers record now stands at 8-9.

The RedHawks (10-9) will now prepare for their battle against Deerfield (Deerfield, IL). The Warriors come into the non-league battle with a 13-4 record. In their last battle, Deerfield was nudged by Lake Zurich (Lake Zurich, IL), 46-41, in a non-league battle.
