Texas High School Basketball - Little River Academy can't hold off Wellington

The Wellington Skyrockets basketball squad scored 25 points and limited the visiting Little River Academy Bumblebees to 20 in the Skyrockets non-league win on Friday.
With the win, Wellington upgrades its record to 6-5 on the season. The Skyrockets travel to Canadian (Canadian, TX) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Monday, January 2. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 7-2.
Next up, the Bumblebees play the Rogers Eagles (Rogers, TX) in a 3A Region III District 19 bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Little River Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 18-6 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 7-9 record after their 38-36 non-league loss to Moulton (Moulton, TX).
