The Lovejoy Wildcats tipped the host Palmer Trinity Falcons basketball team by a final score of 60-54 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Wildcats face the Alcovy Tigers (Covington, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 3 game, on Friday, January 6. Lovejoy will attempt to move on its 11-4 season record.

With the defeat, Palmer Trinity moves to 8-4 on the year. The Falcons travel to NSU University (Fort Lauderdale, FL) to face the Sharks in a non-league game on Wednesday, January 4. The Sharks enter the game with a record of 1-12. NSU University won 34-24 in their recent non-league game against Woodward (Toledo, OH)
