Mansfield Tigers (Mansfield, AR) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Paris Eagles (Paris, AR), 57-35 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mansfield upgrades its record to 14-1 on the season. The Tigers travel to Magazine (Magazine, AR) to play the Rattlers in a 2A Region 4 bout on Saturday, January 7. The Rattlers go into the bout with a record of 2-3.

Next up, the Eagles play the Booneville Bearcats (Booneville, AR) in a 3A Region 4 bout, on Saturday, January 7. Paris will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record.
