In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Mira Costa Mustangs basketball team scored a good 45-31 triumph over the San Clemente Tritons.
In their next game, the Mustangs meet the Palos Verdes Sea Kings (Palos Verdes Estates, CA) in a Bay match, on Tuesday, January 10. Mira Costa will attempt to move on its 11-5 season record.
With the defeat, San Clemente moves to 14-4 on the year. The Tritons host La Salle (Pasadena, CA) to meet the Lancers in a non-league match on Thursday, January 5. The Lancers enter the match with a record of 16-1.
