California High School Basketball - Verdugo Hills nudges Polytechnic

December 30, 2022: Pasadena, CA 91106

Verdugo Hills Dons (Tujunga, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Polytechnic Panthers (Pasadena, CA), 49-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Verdugo Hills upgrades its record to 12-7 on the season. The Dons host Grant (Van Nuys, CA) to clash with the Lancers in a East Valley bout on Wednesday, January 11. The Lancers go into the bout with a record of 2-5.

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Oakwood Owls (North Hollywood, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 5. Polytechnic will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Owls go into the bout with a 8-7 record after their 50-27 non-league loss to Oxnard (Oxnard, CA).
