Mission Hills Grizzlies (San Marcos, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host St. Augustine Saints (San Diego, CA), 54-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mission Hills upgrades its record to 10-0 on the season. The Grizzlies travel to Carlsbad (Carlsbad, CA) to play the Lancers in a bout on Wednesday, January 11. The Lancers go into the bout with a record of 13-3.

Next up, the Saints play the La Costa Canyon Mavericks (Carlsbad, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 3. St. Augustine will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Mavericks go into the bout with a 6-5 record after their 54-43 non-league loss to Mission Hills (San Marcos, CA).
