Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Paraclete Spirits (Lancaster, CA) and the visiting Albany Cougars (Albany, CA), saw Paraclete's basketball squad overcome Albany by a tally of 58-44.
With the victory, Paraclete improves its record to 14-3 on the campaign. The Spirits host Cathedral (Los Angeles, CA) to play the Phantoms in a Camino Real challenge on Wednesday, January 3. The Phantoms come into the challenge with a record of 4-0.
Next up, the Cougars play the Saint Mary's Panthers (Albany, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 2. Albany will attempt to improve on its 9-5 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 60-53 non-league win over St. Joseph Notre Dame (Alameda, CA).
