Illinois High School Basketball - Alcott can't hold off South Shore International

The South Shore International Tars basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Alcott Wildcats to 51 in the Tars non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Tars now sport a 6-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carver for a Chicago Public - White South contest on Tuesday, January 9.

The Wildcats (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against Uplift (Chicago, IL). The Titans enter the non-league contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Uplift nudged Aspira Business and Finance (Chicago, IL), 89-15, in a league contest.
