Amador Valley Dons (Pleasanton, CA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Carlmont Scots (Belmont, CA), 59-51 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Amador Valley upgrades its record to 13-2 on the campaign. The Dons travel to Pitman (Turlock, CA) to play the Pride in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 3. The Pride come into the bout with a record of 11-3. Pitman won 55-27 in their recent non-league bout against Sonora (Sonora, CA)

Next up, the Scots play the Washington Eagles (San Francisco, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 6. Carlmont will attempt to upgrade on its 9-4 season record.
