Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Brother Rice Warriors (Bloomfield Hills, MI) and the host Huron River Rats (Ann Arbor, MI), saw Brother Rice's basketball squad overcome Huron by a tally of 72-56.

With the victory, Brother Rice improves its record to 8-0 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Catholic Central (Novi, MI) to confront the Shamrocks in a Catholic Central challenge on Thursday, January 4. The Shamrocks come into the challenge with a record of 5-2. Catholic Central won 74-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Richard (Riverview, MI)

Next up, the River Rats confront the Monroe Trojans (Monroe, MI) in a Southeastern - Red challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Huron will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record.
