The Byron Bears basketball team scored 93 points and restricted the visiting Lewiston-Altura Cardinals to 56 in the Bears non-league victory on Saturday.
The Bears now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Zumbrota-Mazeppa for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 2. Byron will battle a Cougars team coming off a 82-45 league win over Chatfield (Chatfield, MN). The Cougars record now stands at 6-2.
The Cardinals (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Cotter (Winona, MN). The Ramblers come into the non-league contest with a 4-1 record.
