Sage Creek Bobcats (Carlsbad, CA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Cajon Cowboys (San Bernardino, CA), 58-44 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Sage Creek upgrades its record to 11-5 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Otay Ranch (Chula Vista, CA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 3. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 5-12. Otay Ranch won 80-76 in their recent non-league bout against San Diego (San Diego, CA)

Next up, the Cowboys play the Redlands East Valley Wildcats (Redlands, CA) in a Citrus Belt bout, on Wednesday, January 3. Cajon will attempt to upgrade on its 5-11 season record. The Wildcats come into the bout with a 9-7 record after their 75-55 non-league win over Bravo (Los Angeles, CA).
