Tesoro Titans (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Calvary Chapel Eagles (Santa Ana, CA), 65-58 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Tesoro upgrades its record to 8-10 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Beckman (Irvine, CA) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 4. The Patriots come into the bout with a record of 7-9. Beckman lost 73-66 in their recent non-league bout against Woodrow Wilson (Long Beach, CA)

Next up, the Eagles play the Costa Mesa Mustangs (Costa Mesa, CA) in a Orange Coast bout, on Friday, January 5. Calvary Chapel will attempt to upgrade on its 10-8 season record.
