Virginia High School Basketball - Miller School of Albemarle crushes Calvary Day

Miller School of Albemarle Mavericks (Charlottesville, VA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Calvary Day Cavaliers (Savannah, GA), 56-35 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Miller School of Albemarle upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Mavericks travel to Carlisle (Axton, VA) to play the Chiefs in a VISAA Division IV bout on Thursday, January 4. The Chiefs go into the bout with a record of 10-6. Carlisle lost 79-73 in their recent non-league bout against Rockingham County (Wentworth, NC)
Next up, the Cavaliers play the Long County Blue Tide (Ludowici, GA) in a AAA Region 3 bout, on Friday, January 5. Calvary Day will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record. The Blue Tide go into the bout with a 11-2 record after their 68-47 non-league loss to Sonoraville (Calhoun, GA).
