The Varsity Opponent basketball team (, ), was overwhelmed 60-39 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Castle Park Trojans (Chula Vista, CA)

The Trojans now possess a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Calipatria for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 6. Castle Park will confront a Hornets team coming off a 58-55 non-league win over Imperial (Imperial, CA). The Hornets record now stands at 9-2.
