Centennial Cougars (Circle Pines, MN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting West Fargo Packers (West Fargo, ND), 57-46 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Centennial upgrades its record to 4-6 on the season. The Cougars travel to St. Michael-Albertville (Albertville, MN) to clash with the Knights in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 5-3. St. Michael-Albertville won 72-62 in their recent non-league bout against Fargo South (Fargo, ND)

Next up, the Packers clash with the Grand Forks Central Knights (Grand Forks, ND) in a AA East bout, on Friday, January 5. West Fargo will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record.
