North Carolina High School Basketball - Central Davidson ripped by Salisbury

In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Salisbury Hornets basketball team scored a decisive 85-53 triumph over the Central Davidson Spartans.

In their next game, the Hornets face the South Davidson Wildcats (Denton, NC) in a 1A/2A Central Carolina game, on Wednesday, January 3. Salisbury will attempt to move on its 11-3 season record. The Wildcats enter the game with a 3-9 record after their 57-45 non-league win over Bethany (Summerfield, NC).

With the defeat, Central Davidson moves to 13-1 on the year. The Spartans host Ledford (Thomasville, NC) to face the Panthers in a 3A Mid-Piedmont game on Friday, January 5. The Panthers enter the game with a record of 4-9.
