In Saturday's non-league outing, the Centralia Orphans (Centralia, IL) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Evanston Wildkits (Evanston, IL), by a margin of 61-36.

The Orphans (16-0) will now prepare for their outing against Marist (Chicago, IL). The RedHawks go into the non-league outing with a 12-2 record. In their last outing, Marist smashed Glenwood (Chatham, IL), 42-38, in a non-league outing.

The Wildkits now own a 10-5 record. They play next when they travel to Mt. Vernon for a non-league outing on Saturday, December 30. Evanston will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 51-42 non-league win over Carmel (Mundelein, IL). The Rams record now stands at 11-2.
