Chattooga Indians (Summerville, GA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Excel Christian Academy Eagles (Cartersville, GA), 47-46 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Chattooga upgrades its record to 3-12 on the season. The Indians host Christian Heritage (Dalton, GA) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 11-2. Christian Heritage won 75-54 in their recent non-league bout against North Cobb Christian (Kennesaw, GA)

Next up, the Eagles play the Cornerstone Prep Academy (Acworth, GA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. Excel Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record. The go into the bout with a 6-4 record after their 57-52 non-league win over Pinecrest Academy (Cumming, GA).
