New Jersey High School Basketball - Deptford knocked off by Cherokee

The Cherokee Chiefs basketball team scored 46 points and held the visiting Deptford Spartans to 28 in the Chiefs non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Chiefs now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cumberland for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 2. Cherokee will battle a Colts team coming off a 74-50 non-league loss to Oakcrest (Mays Landing, NJ). The Colts record now stands at 0-5.
The Spartans (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Cumberland (Seabrook, NJ). The Colts enter the Tri-County - Liberty contest with a 0-5 record.
