McNary Celtics (Keizer, OR) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Clackamas Cavaliers (Clackamas, OR), 66-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, McNary upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Celtics travel to Bend (Bend, OR) to clash with the Lava Bears in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Lava Bears go into the bout with a record of 0-9. Bend lost 70-21 in their recent non-league bout against Forest Grove (Forest Grove, OR)

Next up, the Cavaliers clash with the Liberty Falcons (Hillsboro, OR) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 3. Clackamas will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 7-2 record after their 71-65 non-league win over Mountainside (Beaverton, OR).
