In Saturday's non-league outing, the Columbus Grove Bulldogs (Columbus Grove, OH) basketball squad beat the visiting Perry Commodores (Lima, OH), by a count of 60-50.

The Bulldogs (4-1) will now prepare for their outing against Ottoville (Ottoville, OH). The Big Green go into the Putnam County outing with a 7-2 record. In their last outing, Ottoville defeated Van Wert (Van Wert, OH), 53-42, in a non-league outing.

The Commodores now hold a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Upper Scioto Valley for a Northwest Central outing on Friday, January 5. Perry will clash with a Rams squad coming off a 46-44 league win over Ridgemont (Mount Victory, OH). The Rams record now stands at 4-5.
