With the victory, Concordia improves its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Yutan (Yutan, NE) to confront the Chieftains in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 2. The Chieftains come into the challenge with a record of 3-3. Yutan won 59-29 in their recent non-league challenge against Raymond Central (Raymond, NE)

Next up, the Knights confront the Weeping Water Indians (Weeping Water, NE) in a D1 District 2 challenge, on Thursday, January 4. Elmwood-Murdock will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 31-16 non-league win over Falls City (Falls City, NE).
